Nationals Park will once again be the site for the most exciting musical event of the summer when we host One Direction Monday, August 11, 2014.

Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - together they are One Direction. Just over three years ago these five boys hadn't even met each other. But with the help of the biggest television show in the UK, The X Factor, their millions of loyal fans and some killer songs, they have become a global phenomenon and now you can be part of their incredible story. The "Where We Are Tour" will feature music from one of the hottest bands in the world.

One Direction Tickets

  • Gates and show times: Gates open at 5 p.m. and the show will start at 7 p.m. Please do NOT come to Nationals Park before 12 p.m.
  • Will Call: Will Call is located at the CF Box Office and those picking up tickets will be required to present a picture ID of the designated will call name and credit card used for the purchase. No 3rd party will call will be accepted for this event.
  • Check the weather and dress appropriately: Flat shoes are recommended. The field cover can be uneven to walk on with heels or flip flops. Bring a poncho or other rain gear. Small purse umbrellas will be allowed inside the ballpark.
  • Bring essentials: Carry change, emergency contact numbers, and a list of any medical information, if applicable. Bring a battery or phone charger in case you need to charge your phone after the show to reconnect with friends or family.
  • Stay hydrated: Be sure to drink plenty of liquids to stay hydrated in the afternoon sun.

Directions to Nationals Park

  • Parking: All parking lots will open at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 11. Limited parking is available for purchase at
  • Metro: Take the Green line to Navy Yard. Nationals Park is one block away.
  • Drop off: We do not recommend that you drop off children at Nationals Park. Please do not drop off or pick up anyone on South Capitol Street. This is a busy highway and is dangerous for you and other drivers. Pick up will not be accessible on the direct streets surrounding the park following the show as they will be closed for safety precautions post-concert.
  • Gate entry: There are six major gates at Nationals Park. Avoid long lines at the Center Field Gate entrance by utilizing the other surrounding gates.
  • Designate a pick-up spot: Pick a place inside and outside of the ballpark to meet up after the show. The streets are closed around the stadium after the concert for all traffic except for garage traffic. We will have a "Reunification Center" located outside the gates on the corner of N Street and Half Street. This area is clearly marked and will be staffed by Nationals Park Guest Services and Security after the concert. It is not accessible by car, only by foot. You can meet your friends or parents there, if necessary.
  • Banners and signs: Cannot be larger than 18"x 24" and cannot include inappropriate content. NO handles or poles can be attached.
  • Keep aisles clear: For your safety and those around you, we ask that you keep the aisles clear.
  • Do not stand on seats: Standing on seats is very dangerous and will not be allowed by security.
  • Report problems immediately: If you need assistance please contact a Nationals Park team member or use the Guest Text Messaging system (69050). Please do not allow someone or something to impact your experience in a negative manner.
  • Concert lights: Strobes, lasers, motion lighting, and pyrotechnics will be used throughout the show.
  • Wristbands can be picked up in the Blue Tent on First Street, SE located off Potomac Ave, SE starting at 3 p.m. on Monday, August 11. (Please Do Not Arrive to the Ballpark before 12 p.m.)
  • In order to redeem a wristband, individuals must be present with their own field ticket.
  • Field tickets must have the perforated strip attached to receive a wristband.
  • For your safety, we recommend wearing comfortable flat shoes. We advise against wearing flip flops.
  • Field Ticket Holders will not be allowed to stand on their seats during the show.

Live Nation and the Washington Nationals are committed to creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere for fans attending concerts at Nationals Park. The following is a list of items that will be prohibited inside ticketed areas of Nationals Parks during concerts:

  • No outside food or beverages will be allowed expect for one clear, factory-sealed plastic water bottle no larger than 1 liter per person
  • No metal, plastic, or glass containers of any kind
  • No hard or soft sided coolers or ice chests (unless needed to carry medical supplies such as insulin)
  • No backpacks and bags that exceed 16" x 16"x 8"
  • No non-collapsible umbrellas that will not fit in a backpack or bag of maximum allowed size
  • No brooms, poles, and staffs of any kind
  • No weapons, fireworks and other illegal substances
  • No Animals (except service animals)
  • No beach balls and other inflatable items
  • No laser pens and laser pointers
  • No baseball bats (other than miniature souvenir bats purchased at The Nationals Baseball Stadium Complex)
  • No noisemakers not provided by the Nationals
  • No skateboards
  • No LPS (old record covers) are not allowed on the field
  • Alcohol not purchased at The Nationals Baseball Stadium Complex
  • Any other item deemed dangerous or inappropriate

Please be aware this show utilizes moving and blinking lights and to enter at your own risk.
Audio and video recording devices are not allowed.
