105.3 The Fan (KRLD FM) and NewsRadio 1080 (KRLD AM) are the flagship stations for Texas Rangers radio broadcasts in 2009.
Weekday games are moving from the AM to FM and will carried on 105.3 The Fan. All Saturday and Sunday contests remain on
NewsRadio 1080, which have been the home for all Rangers games since 1995. This marks the first time that Texas Rangers have been
broadcast in FM.
A total of 18 spring training games will also be broadcast in 2009, 13 on 105.3 The Fan and 5 on NewsRadio 1080. 105.3 The Fan (KRLD FM) is Your Sports Station with 100,000 watts of sports opinions. 105.3 The Fan, KRLD and TSN are owned and operated by CBS RADIO, one of the largest major-market radio operators in the United States. KRLD also coordinates the Rangers Radio Network, which has been expanded for 2009, with the resources of the Texas State Network.

SPANISH RADIO
All Texas Rangers regular season games are broadcast in Spanish on KFLC (1270 AM), which is in its tenth year as the team's flagship
station. The Rangers handle all aspects of sponsorship, formatting, and production for the Spanish radio broadcast. Texas is one of just two American League teams which provides live on-site coverage of all home and away games. The
Spanish radio feed is available via the SAP feature on FSSW and My27 broadcasts.
