2009 RANGERS AUTOGRAPHED CALENDAR SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCES OF WINNING. The 2009 Rangers Autographed Calendar Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open to all legal residents of Texas who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of Texas Rangers Baseball Partners ("Rangers"), and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Limit 1 entry per qualifying purchase.
ENTRY PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on or about Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. CST and ends on or about Monday, April 6, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. CST (the "Entry Period") and ends on April 15, 2009 for in-person entrants.
HOW TO ENTER: Applicants may enter the Sweepstakes either in-person at a Rangers home game from April 13-15, 2009 or by mail-in entry anytime during the Entry Period. No other methods of entry will be accepted. Limit 1 mail-in entry per person and 1 in-person entry per person per game attended from April 13-15, 2009.
WINNER SELECTION: On or about Thursday, April 16, 2009, the Rangers will randomly select 1 mail-in winner ("Mail-In Winner"). A Rangers' promotions staff member distributing the Rangers Calendar giveaway item will randomly select in-person winners ("In-Person Winners") during the April 13, April 14, and April 15 games. Decisions of the Rangers regarding the Winners are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
PRIZES: Winners will receive 1 autographed copy of the Rangers Calendar giveaway (the "Prize"). Estimated retail value of the Prize is $25. Winner is fully responsible for any and all additionally applicable federal, state, international, and local taxes. All additional costs and expenses not specified herein related to the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. All Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions or substitutions, except at Rangers' discretion. The Rangers are not responsible for acts of God, work stoppages or any other natural disaster outside their control, which may cause the cancellation of the Prizes or Sweepstakes.
NOTIFICATION & WAIVER: Rangers will notify the Main-In Winner on or about April 16, 2009 and notify In-Person Winners on April 13, April14, or April 15 gamedays. In the event that a Winner does not respond to any such notification promptly, a disqualification may result and an alternate winner shall be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries. By accepting the Prize, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the Rangers.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, the Winners and entrants agree to waive any and all claims against the Rangers and its respective affiliates, employees, and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any claims relating to the Sweepstakes or the Prize, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage or advertising claims. Additionally, Winners grant the Released Parties the right to publicize their names and/or likenesses without additional compensation.
The Winners may receive an Eligibility and Release of Liability Form, which must be completed and returned promptly. Refusal or return of the forms as non-deliverable will also result in disqualification and cause an alternative winner to be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Rangers are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials; stolen, late or misdirected entries, lost, damaged, garbled, delayed, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, postage due or illegible entries. If, in the Rangers' judgment, this Sweepstakes becomes compromised in any way, they reserve the right to withdraw the Sweepstakes offer. The Rangers are not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate transcription or loss or delay of entry or prize reply information. Winner acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. The Rangers have the right to disqualify Winner for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Sweepstakes, and to resolve all disputes in its sole discretion. The Rangers make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize and disclaim any implied warranty. Courts in Tarrant County, Texas, which shall be the exclusive venue for any disputes regarding the Sweepstakes or the Prizes. WINNERS LIST: For a list of Winners (available after April 20, 2009), mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Texas Rangers Baseball Club, c/o Promotions Staff (Rangers Autograph Calendar Giveaway Sweepstakes), 1000 Ballpark Way, Suite 400, Arlington, TX 76011.
