THE LEGENDS ARE WAITING...

"It is a story -- the story of the corner of American life occupied by baseball. . . . It is about the people and the passions of a game that grew with the country, enlivened the national mood, stirred the national imagination and dramatized the national spirit. It did this because baseball came from the parks and yards of America and quickly became the game of America, the team game, the town game, your city against mine. . . . Baseball reflected the stages of the national life better than any other game and most other businesses. . . . Baseball reflected the focus of American life . . ."
-- Joseph Durso

-- Marcus Giamatti

Legends of the Game features the largest collection of baseball-related artifacts outside of Cooperstown! With over 140 items from the Hall of Fame, the story of baseball's greatest legends is told through their jerseys, bats, gloves, words of wisdom, and more. Imagine coming face to face with items that once belonged to Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron, Ty Cobb, and many others.

"One of the beautiful things about baseball is that every once in a while you come into a situation where you want to and where you have to reach down and prove something."
-- Nolan Ryan

Legends of the Game features outstanding exhibits about Arlington's own "boys of summer," the Texas Rangers. With the 30th anniversary of the Texas Rangers quickly approaching, you won't want to miss the Museum's history of the team.
