Donate Your Vehicle

Donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or real estate to benefit the A's Community Fund. Your donation is tax deductible and will support youth baseball programs, Bay Area families, and more.

Donating is easy! Call 888-333-3848 to speak with a helpful representative. In mere minutes you'll be on your way to helping the A's Community Fund.

Your donation will be processed by the Vehicle Donation Processing Center. They will compile and process all donor information and handle all of the documents, including automobile pick up, the charity auction sale, and distribution of the proceeds to the A's Community Fund.

The Oakland A's Community Fund supported more than 1,500 charitable organizations through monetary contributions, donated auction items and tickets this season in its efforts to improve the quality of life for people throughout the Bay Area. Specifically, the organization funded endeavors to improve educational programs, aid the underprivileged, assist in crime and drug prevention, promote health awareness, and champion children and senior welfare. The A's Community Fund donated approximately $600,000 to various community programs.

Food Bank Wednesdays

Every Wednesday during the season fans can donate five cans of food or $5 to one of the Alameda County Community Food Bank tents outside the ballpark and receive a 2 for 1 ticket voucher for a future A's game- up to four vouchers per person. Food Bank Wednesdays benefit the Alameda County Community Food Bank and is sponsored by Lagunitas and the A's Community Fund. In 2015, A's fans helped raise $12,104, the most ever collected in one season since the program began in 2001.

Food Bank Wednesday occurs April 13 through September 7, 2016.

Little A's

The Little A's program gives 10,000 deserving youth and their chaperones of non-profit organizations the opportunity to attend an A's game free of charge. In addition to a game ticket, each child receives a Bank of America souvenir and child-admission pass to the Oakland Zoo. The Little A's program is presented by Bank of America and supported by the Oakland Zoo, the Clorox Foundation, and Capitol Corridor.

Senior Days

The Oakland A's Community Fund hosts thousands of Bay Area seniors throughout the regular season. These seniors will get to enjoy an afternoon of baseball from their own section of the ballpark.

In-Kind Donations

The Athletics are dedicated to giving back to the community and are committed to helping charitable organizations throughout the Bay Area. In order to request a donation for you organization, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:

  • All requests must be submitted online at least six (6) weeks prior to the date of your event.
  • The online donation form must be filled out completely in order for your request to be considered.
  • Requests are limited to one donation per organization per calendar year.
  • Due to limited resources, we must limit our donations to groups in the Bay Area and only during baseball season.
  • Your request will be processed one month prior to the date of your event.
  • Donations are for charitable purposes only; we cannot provide sale incentives, corporate gifts or donations to for-profit entities.
  • We cannot accept personal items to be autographed by Athletics players or coaches.
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.
  • Organizations which receive a donation must complete an online reply form after the event, including the amount the item raised for the event, to be considered for future requests.
  • Though we congratulate your efforts, we are unable to support individual or company fundraising efforts (ex. Relay for Life, United Way Campaign, etc.) as we directly support the local chapter of all national charities.

Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics

To honor the life of Dave Henderson, his family and the Oakland A's request that remembrances be sent to support the organization working to find the cure for Angelman's syndrome, a disease that Dave's son has lived with since birth.
