Rangers quiet in nightcap
Tigers 4, Rangers 1
Brandon McCarthy lasted only two-thirds of an inning to take the loss. (Duane Burleson/AP)
By Tim Kirby / MLB.com
After hitting seven home runs in the first half of the doubleheader, the Rangers' bats went dead in Game 2. The Rangers had only one run and three hits off of Tigers' starter Jair Jurrjens and weren't much better once he exited the game. The Texas batting order didn't put up a run after the first inning in the Game 2 loss.
