An early three-run hole became a distant memory as Texas took the lead in the fourth. But it was a nine-run sixth inning that sealed the win. Marlon Byrd and Travis Metcalf both hit grand slams as the Rangers scored an AL-Record 30 runs to take the opener of Wednesday's twin bill.
