Reserve Rob Bowen hit a game-winning solo home run in the seventh and an insurance shot in the eighth as the A's edged the Rangers at Rangers Ballpark on Wednesday. Lenny DiNardo earned his sixth victory of the season, striking out four and surrendering three runs on eight hits in six innings.

Kevin Millwood threw six innings, striking out six and surrendering three runs at Rangers Ballpark on Wednesday but got the no-decision as Texas fell to the Athletics. Brad Wilkerson blasted a game-tying two-run home run in the fifth, but it wasn't enough as the Rangers dropped the series.
