The Blue Jays had two, three-run innings to defeat the Rangers at Rogers Centre on Friday. Frank Thomas broke a three-run tie in the sixth inning with a shot to the Rangers Jamey Wright that the pitcher turned into a run by overthrowing second base in an attempt to get Vernon Wells.
