Kason Gabbard fell to 4-1 on the season with a 3.86 ERA. (Tony Dejak/AP)
By T.R. Sullivan / MLB.com
Kason Gabbard started his career with the Rangers with a loss on Thursday, but had the Texas lineup had a little more success against Indians starter Jake Westbrook, the results may have been different for the lefty. Gabbard allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings, striking out four and walking one. He also threw three wild pitches.
