Fausto Carmona lost for the first time in July as the Indians' bats went cold against the Rangers in the first contest of a three-game set. Carmona capped his dazzling month with a 1.76 ERA but wasn't able to notch win No. 14 on the season. Ryan Garko went deep in the seventh inning for the Tribe.
