Rangers rack up runs
Rangers 9, Mariners 8
Mark Teixeira left with a concussion after he was hit with the ball as he scored. (Jim Bryant/AP)
 Lofton robs Beltre
With the game tied at 8 in the seventh, center fielder Kenny Lofton went over the wall to rob a two-run homer and doubled off the baserunner to end the threat. The veteran then drove in the deciding run a half-inning later. The victory had a dark lining, however, as Mark Teixeira left with a concussion.
