Reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Johan Santana and Most Valuable Player Justin Morneau were the stars of the show for the Twins on Tuesday night. Santana struck out a season-high 13 batters, and Morneau cracked two homers and drove in a season-high five runs.

Sammy Sosa moved to within two homers of becoming the fifth player in history to hit 600. But the Rangers struck out 18 times, the most they've fanned in a nine-inning game since finishing with 18 on July 13, 1997.
