Kennedy solid, but A's fall

Oakland starter Joe Kennedy gave up one run on three hits and three walks while striking out five over five innings, but the Athletics fell to the Rangers. After scoring 16 runs a night before, the A's were shut out and tallied just three hits. The Oakland bullpen surrendered six runs in three innings.
