Five different players drove in runs and right-hander James Shields tossed an effective seven innings as the Rays snapped a four-game losing streak with a win in the series finale against the Rangers in Arlington.
Michael Young did his part, blasting a pair of homers and driving in four runs, but the Rangers dug themselves an insurmountable five-run hole after the third inning as they were unable to cap a sweep of the Rays.
