Mets bench coach Bob Geren picked up a few wins during his time as Oakland A's manager, but he owns one other victory that has nothing to do with baseball.
Bob, along with the rest of the Geren family, ended up on the Family Feud back in the 1980s while Bob was playing for the New York Yankees. So how did the Geren family find there way on the Feud?
"They had an open tryout in San Diego," Geren said. "My sister just recommended our family go down there and try to get on one night. We went out to have a fun evening and ended up on the show."
The full episode can be seen below, and -- spoiler alert -- the Gerens defeated the Robinsons and played for fast money where Bob really shined.
"My brother-in-law went before me and did such a good job that I just had to get a couple questions right to win," he said modestly.
