Rhodes battling tendinitis in left wrist
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Left-handed Rangers reliever Arthur Rhodes exited Friday's 10-3 loss to the Rockies in the seventh inning after allowing four hits to five hitters. Manager Ron Washington said Rhodes has been bothered by some tendinitis in his left wrist for the past few days."It was impeding him throwing the ball, and it seemed like the tingling got worse," Washington said. "Arthur wanted to stay in there, but we don't need him for a Spring Training game. We need him for the season." Washington said the issue should not prevent Rhodes from being ready for Opening Day.
