Davis, Fox homer in Rangers' loss
Offense limited to one hit in first six innings by Dodgers' Wolf

Rangers at the plate: Chris Davis broke the shutout with an opposite-field home run off Hong-Chih Kuo in the seventh inning. Joaquin Arias' infield single was the only hit off Randy Wolf in six innings. Adam Fox hit a two-run homer in the ninth inning.
Dodgers at the plate: Wolf drove in and scored more runs than he allowed and had more hits than he allowed. He doubled in two runs in the first inning and singled and scored in the fourth. Jason Repko slugged a three-run homer. Matt Kemp led off a three-run fourth inning with a homer. Orlando Hudson doubled home two runs.Rangers on the mound: Luis Mendoza was charged with allowing two runs in three innings, both runs reaching base via walks. Ryan Rupe allowed a home run to Kemp on the first pitch he threw and was charged with three runs in one inning. Frank Francisco allowed two runs in two innings. Jimmy Gobble pitched a scoreless inning. Warner Madrigal allowed four runs in the eighth inning. Dodgers on the mound: Wolf was about as good as it gets, becoming the first Dodgers pitcher to go six innings, allowing only one infield single and striking out six. Guillermo Mota pitched a perfect seventh inning. Kuo allowed an opposite-field solo home run to Davis. Cactus League records: Rangers 14-9, Dodgers 11-11
Up next: For the Dodgers, Manny Ramirez returns to the lineup as the designated hitter as the Dodgers play their first-ever game in Tempe against the Angels at 1:05 p.m. PT on Monday, with Chad Billingsley starting against Dustin Moseley. The Angels are not scheduled to visit Camelback Ranch to play the Dodgers, but the clubs will play April 2 at Dodger Stadium.
The Rangers are off on Monday before playing the Mariners at 3:05 p.m. CT on Tuesday in Peoria. Brandon McCarthy is scheduled to pitch and Michael Young is expected back in the lineup after being sidelined for two games with a strained left quadriceps muscle.
