Loe looking forward to Fenway start

He was here on May 12, 2006, and pitched five scoreless innings before rain brought the game to a premature end. The Rangers won, 6-0, and Loe was given credit for the first shutout of his career.
"That's always a good thing," said Loe, who takes the mound against the Red Sox on Sunday at Fenway Park.
"They have a good lineup and that's always a fun challenge for a pitcher," Loe said. "The stadium gets loud and there's a good atmosphere. I always enjoy pitching here."
This is the first game in July and the Rangers haven't had a winning July since they went 17-10 in 2001. They've had a winning record in July in just two of the last 12 seasons and nine in the 35 seasons in which they've been in Arlington.Pitching matchup
TEX: RHP Kameron Loe (4-6, 6.02 ERA)
Loe held the Tigers to two runs over seven innings in an 8-3 victory on Monday, and he's now 3-0 with a 2.07 ERA in his past three starts. He is the first Rangers starter to win three straight games this season, and opponents are hitting .234 off him in those three games. He is 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA in six career games, including three starts, against the Red Sox. BOS: RHP Julian Tavarez (5-5, 4.60 ERA)
Tavarez is 2-1 with a 3.30 ERA in his last five starts. Ten of his 14 starts have been on the road and he is 2-2 with a 4.94 ERA at Fenway. Opponents are hitting .304 off him with runners in scoring position. He is 2-4 with a 6.25 ERA in his career against the Rangers. That's his highest ERA against any American League team.
