Saturday's Game 2 of twin bill postponed

Rangers and Red Sox now will play Sunday doubleheader

BOSTON -- A rain delay of 4 hours, 47 minutes Saturday forced the Rangers and Red Sox to reschedule their day-night doubleheader from Saturday to Sunday.

The 7:05 CT Saturday night game has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. CT, while Sunday's regularly scheduled game has been moved back to 4 p.m. CT.

The two teams managed to salvage a single game Saturday following the long delay.

Lefty John Rheinecker started the Saturday contest while Kevin Millwood is still in line to pitch one of the two games Sunday. John Wasdin, the starter for the game that was postponed, is likely to pitch in the other game for Texas.

Josh Beckett, who had his start postponed Saturday, and David Pauley are the probables for Boston.
