SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The Texas Rangers announced today the following six transactions for the Spring Training roster:

Optioned to Minor League camp:
Boggs, Brandon
Harrison, Matt
Madrigal, Warner
Murray, A.J.

Assigned to Minor League camp:
Gold, Nate
Teagarden, Taylor

With these moves, the Rangers now have 45 players on the Spring Training roster. That figure does not include pitchers Omar Beltre and Alexi Ogando, who remain on the club's restricted list due to visa issues in the Dominican Republic.
