Rangers release RHP John Wasdin
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Texas Rangers General Manager Jon Daniels announced today that the club has released RHP John Wasdin.

Wasdin, 33, was 0-2, 10.64 (13 ER/11.0 IP) with five strikeouts and three walks over seven spring appearances. Went 3-2, 4.28 (36 ER/75.2 IP) in 31 appearances, including six starts, for Texas last season. Recorded a career-high four saves in 2005, three of which came when throwing three-or-more innings.

With this move, the Rangers now have 37 players on the clubs Spring Training roster. Of the 37 players remaining in camp there are 19 pitchers, three catchers, eight infielders and seven outfielders.
