    The Houston Astros have signed left-handed pitchers Edwar Cabrera and Wandy Rodriguez and infielder Danny Worth to minor league contracts with invitations to Major League Spring Training. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow.

  • Astros to Host Houston Winter Invitational at Minute Maid Park

    The fourth annual Houston Winter Invitational will commence baseball season at Minute Maid Park with the six-team tournament held at the stadium from Feb. 5-7. The tournament will feature six NCAA Division II universities, squaring off in nine games across the three days.

  • Astros Statements on the Passing of 20-Year-Old Jose Rosario

    Rosario, 20, died last night in a motorcycle accident in the Dominican Republic. He was signed by the Astros as an 18-year-old minor league free agent in December of 2013. He pitched the last two seasons in the Astros minor league system, splitting his 2015 season between the Dominican Summer League and the Gulf Coast League.

  • Astros to Hold FanFest Tomorrow at Minute Maid Park
