Cubs, Rizzo agree to terms on seven-year contract
The Chicago Cubs and first baseman Anthony Rizzo have agreed to terms on a seven-year contract (2013-19) that includes club options for an eighth season in 2020 and a ninth season in 2021.

The Chicago Cubs today activated right-handed pitcher Kyuji Fujikawa from the 15-day disabled list. In a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Rafael Dolis was optioned to Triple-A Iowa.

Cubs select contract of outfielder Ryan Sweeney
The Chicago Cubs today selected the contract of outfielder Ryan Sweeney from Triple-A Iowa and recalled right-handed pitcher Rafael Dolis from Triple-A. In corresponding roster moves, right-handed pitcher Kameron Loe has been designated for assignment and outfielder Dave Sappelt has been optioned to Triple-A.

The Chicago Cubs today named Single-A Kane County infielder Rock Shoulders and Double-A Tennessee left-handed pitcher Eric Jokisch the organization's minor league player and pitcher of the month for April, respectively.

More than $1 million in grants made to Chicago area nonprofits
The Chicago Cubs today teamed up with the Robert R. McCormick Foundation to announce more than $1 million in grants to nonprofit organizations serving those in need in the Chicago area. This marks the ninth consecutive year more than $1 million has been donated to Chicago communities through Cubs Care, a McCormick Foundation Fund.

CHICAGO - Chicago Cubs fans are invited to participate in the Chicago Cubs Charities "Pink Out" presented by Advocate Health Care, Wednesday, May 8, in the Budweiser Bleachers. Each fan attending the game in the Budweiser Bleachers that day will receive a Chicago Cubs Charities "Pink Out" hat to celebrate survivors and promote breast cancer awareness, handed out at the gates by Cubs players' and coaches' wives.

Cubs-Rangers rescheduled for Monday, May 6
The game postponed on April 17 between the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers has been rescheduled for Monday, May 6 at 7:05 p.m. at Wrigley Field.

Cubs Summer Camps return to Chicago area
Chicago Cubs Summer Camps are returning to the greater Chicago metropolitan area this summer beginning the week of June 24. There will be six one-week sessions in total that will run consecutively though the week of August 5 in the towns of Lake Forest, Riverside, Palatine, Niles, Naperville and Evanston.
