This year, the auction will support the "Katharine Feeney Memorial Scholarship Fund," which is in memory of the late pioneering baseball executive whose career spanned 40 years.

  • Padres tender contracts to 39 players

    The San Diego Padres today announced they have tendered contracts to 39 players for the 2018 season. In addition, the club has agreed to terms on a Major League contract with LHP Robbie Erlin for the 2018 season. Executive Vice President/General Manager A.J. Preller made the announcements. With today's announcements, the Padres currently have a full 40-man roster.

  • Braves non-tender three players

    The Atlanta Braves have declined to tender a 2018 contract offer to INF Matt Adams, INF/OF Jace Peterson, and INF/OF Danny Santana, while also agreeing to terms with RHP Chase Whitley on a one-year, non-guaranteed contract for the 2018 season to avoid salary arbitration with the right-hander.
