Surprise, Ariz. – The Texas Rangers announced the following seven transactions for the spring training roster after today’s game against Milwaukee in Surprise:

With these moves, the Rangers now have 49 players on the spring training roster, including 30 on the 40-man roster and 19 non-roster players.
STONEBURNER TO CLEVELAND: The Rangers have sent infielder Davis Stoneburner to Cleveland as the player to be named later in the Feb. 21 trade in which Texas acquired left-handed pitcher Kelvin De La Cruz. Stoneburner, 27, has spent his entire career in the Rangers organization since being selected in the ninth round of the 2007 June draft. He spent last season at Frisco in his first full season at the Double-A level.
