
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Rangers rallied for three runs in the ninth inning to take a 6-4 victory over the D-backs at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick on Monday.
The Rangers tied the game in the ninth when Doug Deeds was hit by a Juan Gutierrez pitch with one out and the bases loaded, and went ahead for good when Chris Davis singled home Craig Gentry.Facing Rangers closer Neftali Feliz in the seventh, singles by Juan Miranda and Kelly Johnson gave the D-backs runners at the corners with one out. Chris Young hit a grounder back to the mound but Feliz could only get the force at second, allowing a run to score for a 3-2 D-backs advantage. Feliz has a 2.12 ERA in the spring.

Up next for the D-backs: The D-backs play a pair of games Tuesday. They will travel to Mesa to finish out their Cactus League schedule with a 1:05 p.m. MST against the Cubs. Left-hander Joe Saunders, who will start the season's third game, will get the ball in that one. That game will be available on MLB.com's Gameday Audio. The D-backs then will play host to the Monterey Sultanes of the Mexican League on Tuesday night at 6:40 p.m. MST at Chase Field. The D-backs have not announced a starter for that game yet.
