Rangers at the plate: David Murphy's two-run single got the Rangers on the board against Aaron Laffey in the second. Murphy later scored on a Wes Hodges throwing error, and Omar Vizquel capped the four-run inning with an RBI single to center. In the third, the Rangers loaded the bases for Jarrod Saltalamacchia, who brought everybody home with a double off Rafael Betancourt.

Indians at the plate: Chris Gimenez and Asdrubal Cabrera both doubled off Matt Harrison in the third, with Cabrera driving in a run. The Indians batted around the order against Thomas Diamond in the fourth, as Beau Mills ripped an RBI triple, Hodges brought home two with a single and Ben Francisco drew a walk with the bases loaded.

Rangers on the mound: Harrison looked sharp for two innings before losing his grip in the third. He gave up two doubles and walked a batter that inning. In all, he gave up a run on three hits with the one walk and two strikeouts. Diamond was no diamond in the rough. He was just rough, allowing four runs on four hits with three walks and a strikeout in just two-thirds of an inning.

Indians on the mound: Laffey cruised through the first and hit a wall in the second. He wasn't helped by Hodges' error or the Chris Davis liner that ricocheted off an umpire and into the outfield for a base hit, as he allowed four runs on six hits. Betancourt labored through the third, allowing three runs on three hits with a walk and two strikeouts.

Cactus League records: Rangers 3-3; Indians 2-4.

Up next: The Rangers are off on Tuesday before playing the Royals at 2:05 p.m. CT in Surprise on Wednesday. Josh Hamilton is expected to be back in the lineup after missing Monday's game with the Indians because of a strained left hamstring. Kevin Millwood makes his second start of the spring.

The Indians will get their first spring look at right-hander Anthony Reyes, who is likely to be their No. 4 starter this season, when he gets the starting nod in Tuesday's 3:05 p.m. ET game against the Royals in Surprise. Reyes battled an elbow problem at the end of last season, so the Indians are easing him into exhibition action.
