Gagne finally gets in the game

Rangers at the plate: Nelson Cruz hit his first two home runs of the spring and has four extra-base hits in the last two games. Ian Kinsler had two hits, a home run and a double. He has three home runs for the spring.Giants at the plate: Barry Bonds went deep for the Giants, hitting his fifth home run of the spring off of Akinori Otsuka. Kevin Frandsen also hit a home run and had three hits on the afternoon. Rangers on the mound: Robinson Tejeda pitched four innings and allowed six hits and a walk but no runs. Eric Gagne made his spring debut for the Rangers and faced four batters. Frandsen led off with a home run, but Gagne retired the next three hitters. Giants on the mound: Russ Ortiz continues to enjoy a terrific spring. He retired the first nine hitters he faced and ended up allowing two runs on four hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out six. Ortiz has a 3.00 ERA for the spring. Cactus League records: Rangers 12-6, Giants 12-10. Up next: The Giants are at Tucson Electric Park to face the Chicago White Sox at 1:05 PT Wednesday with Matt Cain pitching against Javier Vazquez. The Rangers are in Mesa to play the Chicago Cubs at 3:05 p.m. CT Wednesday with Jamey Wright pitching. Sammy Sosa is expected to play in that game for the Rangers.
