TORONTO -- Two Rangers each reached a significant milestone within the first three innings of Tuesday night's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

In the second inning, Rafael Palmeiro hit his 453rd career home run, moving him past Carl Yastrzemski for the 25th spot on the all-time list

One inning later, Alex Rodriguez connected on his 250th homer of his career. At 26 years, 277 days old, Rodriguez is the second youngest player to reach the 250-homer plateau. Only Jimmy Foxx (26 years, 269 days) reached 250 faster than the Rangers' All-Star shortstop.

With his ninth homer of the month, A-Rod also tied Ivan Rodriguez's team record for home runs in April.
