To register your PlayStation®3 system for use with your MLB.TV Premium subscription, download the MLB.TV app from the PlayStation®3 Store, which is listed under the PlayStation® Network menu. You can access it by launching the PlayStation® Store, within the store select Apps from the menu along the left side of the screen, then select Sports. Choose the MLB.TV app and select to download it. The app is available at no charge. Let the download finish and then wait for the app to install. After the installation is complete you can launch the MLB.TV app from the "Video" menu on your PlayStation®3 system.
After you have launched the MLB.TV app for the first time, you will be given a code to enter at MLB.com/PS3. From your computer, go to that page and click on the link that says "Current Subscribers Activate your PS3 system". If you are not already logged in to MLB.com, sign in to the MLB.com account that is linked to your MLB.TV Premium subscription. You will then be asked to enter the code that appears on your PlayStation®3 system to register it to your account.
The PlayStation®3 system will automatically update itself after you have entered a valid activation code and we successfully link your MLB.TV Premium account to the PlayStation®3 system. This verification process takes about a minute to show on your PlayStation®3 screen. You can now access live and archived games via MLB.TV on your PlayStation®3 system.
The MLB.TV app will launch to a listing of Today's games. You can go through this listing to select a game that you would like to watch.

When available, both the Home and Away feeds are listed. Once you select the feed that you would like to watch, if it is a live game, you can choose to watch it from the beginning of the game, resume from a point where you left off, or launch it to the current live action of the game. Archived games offer the Beginning and Resume options.
To select an Archived Game from an earlier date, press Select. This will bring up a calendar where you can select a different date to watch a game from. In the calendar, select the date of the game that you would like to watch, then select the game and feed from that date. At any time, you can press Square to go back to Today's listing of games.
In the Calendar, games where the team's logos are in a white box have video available. If the logos are in a black box, video is not available on the PlayStation®3 for that game.

If you are unable to view a game and see a message stating that you need to update your account information, go to the Payment Profile section of your account settings on MLB.com and enter the most current information.
While viewing a game, press the Triangle button to bring up a menu of options including Select Feed, Select Audio, Jump to Live, Event Filtering, and Help. "Select Audio" will allow you to select a radio audio feed of the game that you can listen to as you watch the TV video coverage. "Jump to Live" will bring you to the live action of the game if you are watching an earlier part of a game that is currently in progress. "Event Filtering" will let you select from a listing of events such as Home Runs, Stolen Bases, etc., you can then view a bar with dots showing when the events that you selected occur in the game. To skip to the next event press the R1 button, to go to a previous event press L1. "Help" will show a guide of what each button on the PlayStation®3 controller does within the MLB.TV app.
