"Jimbo" Leyland Was The Most Popular Boy In School
This could be our favorite baseball-related Twitter story of all time.
Last month, Detroit Tigers veteran manager Jim Leyland got nostalgic and pulled out his high school yearbook. Luckily for all of us, Leyland's son, Patrick, tweeted multiple photos from the yearbook. Most notably, Leyland, a multi-sport star, was voted "The Most Popular Boy" in school. Oh, and he went by Jimbo in those days.
