Update from Texas Rangers
07/06/2010 10:57 PM ET
Arlington, Texas -- At approximately 8:30 p.m. this evening, a male adult fell approximately 30 feet from section 235 in the club level to the lower seating bowl below.

The Rangers are monitoring reports from John Peter Smith Hospital, but at the moment all we know is that the fan got immediate attention from our staff, was able to move all his extremities, and was responsive to paramedics when the EMS workers reached him.

Four other individuals seated in the lower bowl were treated in the first aid area at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. None were transported to the hospital.

Clearly, our team and our fans are deeply concerned. We are prayerful and hopeful for his well-being and the others who were injured in this incident.
