Rangers Minor League player Doyle suspended 05/02/2011 6:34 PM ET
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Texas Rangers Minor League right-handed pitcher Andrew Doyle has received a 50-game suspension after a second violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program for a drug of abuse. The suspension of Doyle, a member of the Club's Single-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans affiliate, is effective immediately. This story was not subject to the approval of Major League Baseball or its clubs.
