I-30 Lane Closures Between Ballpark & Downtown Dallas Alternate Post-Game Routes Recommended
The Texas Department of Transportation is currently making emergency repairs to the I-30 bridge deck over the Trinity River in Dallas. Motorists can expect nightly lane closures on east and westbound I-30, just west of the Mixmaster in downtown Dallas, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. nightly.
The Texas Rangers recommend that fans returning to Dallas seek alternate routes. TxDOT's repairs and lane closures at this location are expected to continue into mid-July.
Possible alternative routes include:
- Highway 360 or Loop 12 north to Highway 183 east
- Highway 360 or Loop 12 south to I-20 east (Highway 67, I-35 and I-45 north all lead to downtown from I-20. I-20 also connects to east loop I-635.)
- One of the following exits off of I-30 eastbound toward Dallas:
- Hampton north (becomes Inwood)
- Hampton south to Fort Worth Avenue east
- Westmoreland north (becomes Mockingbird)
- Sylvan north (to Commerce, Singleton, or I-35 Stemmons east)
